Associate Broker
Herrigel Group

For the past decade I have been a full-time real estate broker in southern Maine. With a focus strong management, innovative marketing programs, and the latest technologies, I am committed to providing the best possible experience for each and every one of my clients. My past work experience includes Eagle Point Enterprises (an affordable housing real estate development company), carpentry (as a self employed handyman), and hospitality management at Rock Gardens Inn, Migis Lodge and the Cape Arundel Inn. Always up for an adventure 5 years ago I took a 6 month hiatus from real estate to sail from Maine to the Caribbean and back aboard our dear yet tragically lost to a storm selling vessel, the Audax.

Originally from Chatham, New Jersey, I was fortunate to spend every summer on the coast of Maine, specifically in Small Point and West Point, located on the beautiful peninsula of Phippsburg. In my younger years I played a ton of tennis and hockey, sports I continue to enjoy whenever possible! My entrepreneurial drive started at an early age when I started a landscaping service, and then moved on to researching and investing in publicly traded companies. I attended the University of Virginia, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Economics. While Charlottesville was an incredible academic experience, certainly the most memorable adventure was my semester blue water sailing on the tall ship SSV Corwith Cramer.

These days when I do take a break, I enjoy spending it with family and friends, pursuing outdoor activities and getting out on the water. I am an avid sailor and boater, enjoy tennis, running and most recently kite surfing. I currently live in Portland and stay active in the community. One of my more recent endeavors is lobstering (hey, it is Maine!) Ask to come aboard for a haul anytime! Did you know that any resident of Maine is actually entitled to a 5 trap recreational license?!

Alas, because of my New Jersey roots I will always be considered "From Away," but I continue to aspire to one day be mistaken as a native Mainer!

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?

“ To date, it has been transitioning from a one man operation into a full fledged real estate team all while still maintaining the 1-to-1 personal relationships with our clients. With the added team members, we can offer a better product and higher lever of customer service that benefits all of the involved parties! I love coming into work each day and immersing myself in the exciting, sometimes challenging, and almost always enjoyable experiences that this business brings with it! ”

BA from University of Virginia
